D'Jenne Egharevba joined Ole Miss as an athletics counselor in 2023.
Egharevba is a former professional track and field athlete (Team Mexico), 2x All-American at Texas Tech, and holds a few school records at Illinois State University (60m, 100m, 200m indoor and outdoor).
Prior to coming to Ole Miss, Egharevba completed an internship with the Houston Astros as mental health and performance clinician.
Egharevba is the founder and former president of the Black Student Athlete Association at Texas Tech, and a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Egharevba received her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech and is working towards her Certified Mental Performance Consultant certification. She is passionate about
athletes and their well-being, ensuring they perform to their highest ability. Egharevba is originally from Chicago.
