Parker Eidson

Parker Eidson was named Director of Basketball Operations at Ole Miss in April of 2023, his second stint under head coach Chris Beard. He recently spent five years at University of Texas at Arlington as their director of operations under head coaches Chris Ogden and Greg Young. He brings over 10 years of administrative experience at the collegiate level.
With the Rebels, Eidson oversees all logistical aspects of the program’s day-to-day operations, including budget, travel, meals, camps, and equipment. Additionally, Eidson assists with program promotion, community relations and also serves as the liaison between the team and the athletic department administration.
Eidson, a native of Nashville, Tenn., spent five seasons at the University of Texas at Arlington. During his tenure in Arlington, Eidson oversaw all logistical aspects of the program, aided in a run to the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship, and helped the program navigate a conference transition from the Sun Belt Conference to the Western Athletics Conference during the 2022-23 season.
Before transitioning to Texas-Arlington, Eidson served as a basketball operations graduate assistant under Beard at Texas Tech during the 2017-18 season. He coordinated operations for the Red Raider team that amassed 27 wins and advanced to the NCAA Regional Finals. Eidson worked with day-to-day program scheduling, coordinated team travel, served as a liaison between the basketball program and the athletics administration and oversaw the procurement and distribution of team equipment.
Prior to his time at Tech, he spent four seasons as a student assistant at the University of Tennessee. While at Tennessee, he worked under three head coaches, Cuonzo Martin, Donnie Tyndall, and Rick Barnes. He was also a part of the program’s charge to the 2014 Sweet Sixteen. While with the Volunteers, he assisted coaches and staff with recruiting, summer camps, team travel, supervision of the team managers, along with the skill development of numerous professional players, including: Josh Richardson, Grant Williams, Admiral Schofield, Jordan McRae, and Kevin Punter.
Eidson earned his master’s in public administration from UTA in 2020. He received a bachelor’s of science degree in sport management with a minor in business from the University of Tennessee in 2017.
