Keyana Smith joined the FedEx Student-Athlete Success Center team in February 2018. She currently serves as the Assistant Director for Academic Support and works with football and women’s basketball.
Prior to coming to Ole Miss, Smith served as the Senior Student Success Manager at the University of New Mexico from 2015-18, working with men’s basketball and softball. In 2014, she worked as the Mentor Program Coordinator for Utah Valley University.
Smith earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology in 2006 from Morgan State, master’s degrees in kinesiology (emphasis in sport psychology) in 2012 from the University of North Dakota, and is finishing her second master’s degree in sport administration from the University of New Mexico.
Originally from Sacramento, California, Smith also coached high school softball in California for three years and college softball in North Dakota for three years.
