The Rebel Runner's Log
Notes from the Plough Park Invitational
The Rebels placed second for the second-straight year at the Memphis meet.
Ole Miss ran without its top three runners: senior Bernard Kuria, junior Thomas Blackwell and sophomore Larry Henderson.
Quoting Head Coach Joe Walker
On the Plough Park Invitational
"On the men's side, we finished second to Memphis, but we held our top three runners out. We did that so we could put some of our younger runners in pressure situations to see who would rise up and run well for us. On the women's side, we weren't real sure what to expect. We had a lot of runners running for the first time, but we were real pleased with the results."
