Men's Golf Tied for Fourth after Second Round

OPELIKA, Ala. -- Ole Miss senior Haymes Snedeker shot a one-under par 71 to lead the Rebel golf team in second-day action at the Billy Hitchcock Intercollegiate on Friday. The Billy Hitchcock Intercollegiate is being held at the par-72 Saugahatchee Country Club.
After the second, the Rebels are tied for fourth place with a score of 583. Auburn leads the field after round two with a 563, with Florida State tied for second place with Southeastern Louisiana at 580.
Snedeker is in third place with a four-under par 140, two shots behind leader Scott Weatherly of Auburn with a 138.
Sophomore Phil Caravia moved into a tie for 17th with a one-over par 73. Junior Jon Bartlett is tied for 26th after a one-over 73, while Chris Malloy is tied for 42nd after a four-over 76. Troy Muller is tied for 45th after shooting a five-over 77.
The Billy Hitchcock Intercollegiate continues with final-round play on Sunday.
