The two schools have met 15 times on the baseball diamond and the Rebels are 5-10 versus South Alabama. Two of Ole Miss' five wins against the Jaguars came in the 1972 NCAA District III Tournament, where the Rebels came from the loser's bracket to defeat the Jaguars twice and advance to their fourth-ever College World Series.
