OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss Rebels will take on arch-rival Mississippi State in the 20thannual Mayor's Trophy baseball game Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson. The game will not count in the Southeastern Conference standings.

Approximately 1,500 tickets are still available for tomorrow night's game. Tickets can be ordered over the phone by calling the Jackson Generals' ticket office at 601-981-4664.

FOX Sports South is also scheduled to televise the contest.

The Rebels, winners in seven of their last 10 games, enter the contest with a 13-14 overall record after losing two-of-three at LSU over the weekend. Senior second baseman Brad Henderson continued his hot hitting, going 8-for-14 against Tigers. Henderson currently ranks eighth in the SEC in hitting with a .404 average, and his .543 batting average for conference games leads the SEC.

Freshman right-hander Cooper Campbell has also played a major role in the Rebels' success over the past 10 games. Campbell has appeared in eight of the last 10 games, including all three this weekend at LSU, and has allowed just one earned run in 10.2 innings while picking up three wins and a save.

Mississippi State comes into Wednesday's contest ranked No. 9 in the latest Baseball Weekly/ESPN poll and No. 11 in this week's Collegiate Baseball Top 30. The Bulldogs boast the conference's top pitching staff, allowing opponents to hit just .217 against them and have a team ERA of 2.83. Mississippi State is hitting .361 as a team led by junior Travis Chapman's .426 average.

Freshman left-hander Nathan Lyons is scheduled to start for the Rebels against the Bulldogs. It will be Lyons' second start of the year. He is 0-0 with a 3.78 ERA this season in 10 appearances.

Following Wednesday's game, the Rebels will step back into SEC play by traveling to Nashville for a three-game series with the Vanderbilt Commodores.
