Baseball Knocks off Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - (AP) -- Brad Henderson, Jason Huisman and Robert Shelton each hit a home run Saturday to lead Mississippi to an 8-6 win over Alabama.
Ole Miss (25-21, 9-13 Southeastern Conference) scored three runs in the first and fourth innings and one run in the third to take a 7-0 lead they never relinquished.
Andy Phillips led Alabama (34-12, 14-8) with two home runs and four RBIs. Matt Frick added another home run for the Tide.
Jeff McAvoy (4-5) picked up the win for the Rebels. In 7 2-3 innings, he allowed eight hits and six runs. Huisman got his second save of the season.
Pete Fisher (4-6) took the loss for Alabama. In four innings, he allowed seven hits and seven runs.
