Lady Rebel Golfers, Rinaldo in First Place at Memphis Intercollegiate

GERMANTOWN, Tenn. - The Ole Miss women's golf team is in first place at the Memphis Intercollegiate with a 294 in the first round Sunday, while Lady Rebel golfer Robyn Rinaldo is tied for the lead in the individual field with a 72.
Rinaldo, a junior from Dade City, Fla., is tied for the lead with Angela Blythe of Purdue and Natalie Tucker of Memphis. The Lady Rebels have an eight-stroke advantage over Purdue, which shot a 302. Southern Mississippi is in third place with a 305.
Marci Kornegay, a sophomore from Savannah, Ga., is tied with Terry-Anne Lacoste of Southern Mississippi for fourth place with a 73. Megan Breen, a senior from Longwood, Fla., is tied with Johanna Danielsson of Arkansas for sixth place with a 74.
Teresa Brown, a sophomore from Windermere, Fla., is tied with eight others for eighth place with a 75, and Anna Kirchner, a senior from Spring, Texas, is tied for 59th with an 82.
The Lady Rebels play the second round of the Memphis Intercollegiate at Windyke Country Club on Monday and complete the tournament Tuesday.
