Lady Rebel Golfers Tied for Fifth at Auburn

OPELIKA, Ala - Robyn Rinaldo of the Ole Miss golf team fired a 69 in the first round of the Auburn Tiger Invitational on Friday and leads the individual field, and the Lady Rebels shot a 299 to tie for fifth place.
Florida State and Georgia are tied for the lead with a 293, followed by Alabama with a 297. LSU is in fourth place with a 298, and Ole Miss is tied with Auburn for fifth with a 299.
Rinaldo, a junior from Dade City, Fla., is joined in the top 10 by Megan Breen, a senior from Longwood, Fla., who is tied for seventh place with a 72.
Teresa Brown, a sophomore from Windermere, Fla., is tied for 21st with a 75. Kim Tudor, a freshman from Winter Garden, Fla., who is competing individually in the tournament, shot a 79 and is tied for 46th.
Anna Kirchner, a senior from Spring, Texas, is tied for 58th with an 83, and Marci Kornegay, a sophomore from Savannah, Ga., is tied for 63rd with an 86.
The Lady Rebels will continue the tournament Saturday and Sunday.
