Mack Places Sixth in 400-Meter Hurdles Heat

NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Brandy Mack, a freshman on the Ole Miss women's track and field team, placed sixth in her qualifying heat of the 400-meter hurdles on Friday, failing to advance to Saturday's semifinals in the event. Mack finished sixth with a time of 1:03.10.

On Saturday, sophomore Tisha Parker will compete in the long jump competition, which will start at 7:00 p.m. (CT).
