Marcus Jones Places 12th in Triple Jump at NCAAs

BOISE, Idaho - Ole Miss senior Marcus Jones, a member of the Rebel track and field squad, placed 12th in triple jump in late action on Saturday night at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Jones, an Okolona, Miss., native, finished 12th in the event with a jump of 52-1. LSU's LeVar Anderson won the NCAA triple jump title with a mark of 56-2.

The Ole Miss track and field team returns to action at the USA Track and Field Outdoor Nationals June 18-20 in Eugene, Oregon.
