Rebels Go Through Two Workouts on Saturday

OXFORD, Miss. - After going through a 180-play intra-squad scrimmage on Friday, the Ole Miss Rebels went through two hour-and-a-half practices on Saturday.
The Rebels watched films from yesterday's scrimmage and worked mainly on special teams in the morning. In the afternoon session, Ole Miss turned its attention to working on some of the mistakes made in Friday's intra-squad scrimmage. The Rebels also stressed game tempo and conditioning by working in the afternoon heat.
"We spent the morning watching films and working on special teams," Tuberville said. "This afternoon we just came out and worked on a lot of team concepts to correct some of the mistakes that were made yesterday. We tried to work in the heat of the day so we went late in the morning and late in the afternoon."
Ole Miss will practice once on Sunday as they continue preparations for the Sept. 5 season-opener against Memphis.
