Track and Field Completes Action at Texas Relays

AUSTIN, Texas - In action late on Friday, the Ole Miss men's and women's 4x400 meter relay teams both competed in event preliminaries at the 72nd annual Texas Relays.

The Rebel 4x400 meter relay team placed third in its heat and 10th overall with a time of 3:09.85. The squad just missed qualifying for the finals, as the top nine squads advanced. On the women's side, Ole Miss finished third in its heat and 14th overall with a time of 3:47.17 in the 4x400 meter relay preliminaries.

The Ole Miss track and field squads return to action on April 10 at the Tom Botts Invitational in Columbia, Mo.
