OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss men's and women's track teams will compete Saturday at the third-annual Tom Botts Invitational, hosted by the University of Missouri. The meet is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. at the Audrey J. Walton Track Soccer Stadium in Columbia, Mo.

Illinois State and Michigan State will also be competing at the meet in addition to Ole Miss and host Missouri.

"We're looking forward to competing this Saturday," said Ole Miss head coach Joe Walker. "Like all meets we compete in, we're looking to go out and improve from the previous week. I've been very happy with the way we've competed to this point."

Ole Miss competed last weekend at the Texas Relays in Austin. Junior Kyle Wallace won the pole vault at the Texas Relays with a personal best mark of 17-feet-4 to provisionally qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Wallace's mark of 17-4 is also the second-best mark in Ole Miss history. Senior Bernard Kuria is coming off a second-place finish in the 10,000 meters at Texas.

On the women's side, the Lady Rebels will be led by sophomore Teneeshia Jones. Jones provisionally qualified for the NCAA meet in the 100 meters earlier this season, setting a new school record with a time of 11.47.
