Ole Miss-Tennessee Rained Out

OXFORD, Miss. - Inclement weather forced the final game of the weekend series between Ole Miss and Tennessee to be canceled Sunday, ending the series at 2-0 for the Volunteers.
The Vols pounded the Rebels in the first game 12-2 Friday night and won the second 8-2 on Saturday. The series was the first meeting between the two inter-division rivals since 1997.
The Rebels will next play Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., at Louisiana-Monroe. There will be no local radio coverage of the game due to the Ole Miss men's basketball NIT second round game against SW Missouri State, set for 7:00 p.m., at the Tad Smith Coliseum.
