BAYLOR: Tonight's game will mark the fourth meeting between the Rebels and Bears ... the two schools met for the very first time on the diamond last year in Waco with Baylor taking two-of-three ... despite losing two games, the Rebels out-hit the Bears 36-27 and both teams scored 28 runs each.
SCOUTING BAYLOR: Baylor is 15-3 on the year, including 5-1 inside the Big XII, after sweeping a three-game series from Texas A&M this past weekend ... the Bears are hitting .294 (175-595) as a team with 12 HRs, and have outscored the opposition 124-60 ... freshman Mike Huggins and sophomore Kelly Shoppach lead the team, batting .388 and .385 average, respectively ...
