Rinaldo Tied For 33rd In Golf East Regional

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ole Miss women's golfer Robyn Rinaldo fired an opening-round 76 on Thursday to tie for 33rd after 18 holes of the NCAA East Regional at the Ohio State University Scarlet Course.

Rinaldo, a senior from Dade City, Fla., shot 36-40--76 to sit four over par and tied with eight others at 33. Rinaldo is an individual participant in the regional.

Leading the pack after day one is North Carolina's Marcy Newton with a five-under-par 67. Purdue is the team leader with a 295.

Second-round action begins at 8:30 a.m. on Friday with the final 18 holes on Sunday.
