Bartlett Fires Third-Round 73 At Men's NCAA Championships

OPELIKA, Ala. - Ole Miss golfer Jon Bartlett carded a third-round 73 Friday to tie for 33rd entering the final round of the NCAA Championships at the Grand National Golf Club's Lake Course.
Bartlett, who is an individual participant in the championships, is tied with three others with a two-under-par 214. The senior from Ocala, Fla., shot a career-low 66 Thursday to make the cut for the final two rounds.
Leading the pack is Oklahoma State junior Charles Howell with a 67-66-63--196, 20 under par. Howell's Cowboys also sit atop the leaderboard entering the final round with a 32-under 832.
The NCAA individual and team champions will be decided with 18 holes on Saturday. Tee times begin at 7:30 a.m., with Bartlett starting his final collegiate round at 9:36.
