TULANE POSTGAME NOTES
* Adrian Burnette caught his 11th touchdown pass of his career to move into a tie for first on the career touchdown reception list.
* The 67-yard touchdown pass by Ole Miss is the largest by an opponent vs. the Green Wave since the 1998 SMU game (Sept. 12). The Mustangs had a 75-yard touchdown pass in the that game. The longest completion vs. the Green Wave a year ago was a 66-yarder in the Southern Mississippi game (Sept. 6).
* Freshman Mewelde Moore had an impressive debut with 82 yards on 16 carries. The Baton Rouge native signed a contract to play professional baseball for the San Diego Padres on Wednesday, thus becoming a non-scholarship football player for Tulane.
* Moore was one of five true freshmen who saw action in the game for Tulane.

135 All-purpose yards, 14 touches, 3 TDs, 9.64 yards per touch
* McAllister's 47-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter, set the record for total touchdowns in a career at Ole Miss with 26, surpassing Archie Manning's record of 25. McAllister later scored his 27th career TD with a one-yard run with 7:03 left in the 4th quarter.
* The 47-yard TD reception was the first of his career, not including bowl games, and is a career-long.
* McAllister's one-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter tied Archie Manning's Ole Miss career rushing touchdown record of 25.
* With his 29 yards rushing, McAllister tied Dou Innocent for second-place on the school's career rushing with 2,322 yards.
* With three touchdowns, Deuce McAllister moved into fifth-place on the Ole Miss career scoring list with 165 points.
* It is the third, three-TD performance in his career (including bowl games) as he also scored three TDs against Texas Tech in the 1998 Independence Bowl and last Nov. 6 vs. Arkansas.
TEAM NOTES
* Romaro Miller completed 18-of-26 passes for 302 yards to tie Archie Manning's school record of three career, 300-yard passing games.
* Senior WR Grant Heard had five receptions today in becoming the eighth player in Ole Miss history to record 100 or more career receptions. Heard now has 103 career receptions.
* At 14:01 in the second quarter, redshirt freshman Eli Manning made his college debut at quarterback for the Rebels.
* Sophomore running back Toward Sanford scored his first career receiving touchdown on a 67-yard pass from Miller late in the third quarter. This ties for the 26th longest pass play in school history.
* Senior safety Kenny Woods scored his first career touchdown on a 33-yard interception return. Ronnie Heard was the last Ole Miss player to return an interception for a touchdown, returning an interception 28 yards for a touchdown against LSU last year.
* Today's win also moves the Rebels win streak against non-conference opponents to 20.
* The last time the Rebels lost a non-conference game was against Memphis, 17-16 in Oxford back on Nov. 5, 1994.
* Ole Miss' 21 points in the third quarter is the most points scored in a quarter for the Rebels since scoring 21 points in the second quarter against South Carolina last year.
* Sophomore running back Robert Williams scored his first career touchdown, a 33-yard run in the fourth quarter.
* The Rebels' 49 points is the most scored since the 1995 season when Ole Miss defeated Indiana State 56-10 on Sept. 9.
* The 49 points is the most scored by Ole Miss in a season opener since 1952 when the Rebels defeated Memphis State 54-6 on Sept. 19.
* Today's win puts Ole Miss at 78-23-5 in season openers.
* In home opener's the Rebels improve to an impressive 88-12-5. Ole Miss has won its last 13 home-openers, with the last home-opening loss coming on Sept. 12, 1987, 31-10 to Arkansas in Jackson. (Ole Miss used to play some home games in both Jackson and Memphis.)
* When Ole Miss' season and home openers are one in the same, the Rebels are 54-3-3. Ole Miss has won 10 consecutive season/home openers, with their last loss coming to Texas A&M on Sept. 6, 1980, 23-20 in Jackson.
* Ole Miss improves to 115-45-2 all-time against Conference USA.
