OXFORD, Miss. - After competing at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Ala., last weekend, the Ole Miss cross country teams will travel to Jonesboro, Ark. to compete in the Arkansas State Invitational on Saturday.
The Lady Rebels will be looking to improve on their 23rd-place showing at last weekend's Crimson Classic as they run in the 4K race. There will be seven teams competing on the women's side including Memphis, Murray State, Jackson State, Tennessee-Martin, Western Kentucky and host Arkansas State.
The Rebels will be one of eight teams competing on the 6K course. They will face the same teams with the addition of Southeast Missouri State. Ole Miss will once again look to senior Chad Dixon for leadership as he was the top-finisher for the Rebels at the Crimson Classic coming in 22nd-place in the 10K race.
