OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss baseball team will hold a "Red-Blue" intra-squad scrimmage Saturday at 11:00 a.m., at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field prior to the Ole Miss' football team's game with Kentucky set for 6:00 p.m. at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium/Hollingsworth Field.

All fans that attend Saturday's scrimmage will receive a free can of Coca-Cola, courtesy of Coke.

"We want to invite everyone to come out and catch a sneak peek of the 2001 Ole Miss Rebel baseball team," said first-year head coach Mike Bianco. "With the football game also that night, this will be an exciting day for Ole Miss fans."

Southern California-transfer Pete Montrenes, a junior right-handed pitcher, is expected to see action on the mound in Saturday's scrimmage. Montrenes transferred to Ole Miss in August after two seasons at USC and pitched for the Trojans in this past June's College World Series.

Ole Miss is also scheduled to hold intra-squad scrimmages Friday afternoon at 2:45 p.m., and Sunday at 1:00 p.m. The public is welcome to attend those scrimmages as well.
