Baseball Season tickets On Sale

OXFORD, Miss. - Season tickets for the 2001 Ole Miss baseball season are currently on sale through the University of Mississippi Athletic Ticket Office.
A limited number of reserved grandstand tickets are still available for $75.00. For Southeastern Conference games only, reserved grandstand season tickets can be purchased for $60.00. Fans wishing to buy general admission tickets for all Ole Miss home games can do so for $50.00, however, a minimum of two general admission tickets must be purchased.
"There is a lot of excitement by the players, coaches and the fans about this upcoming baseball season," first-year Ole Miss head coach Mike Bianco said. "With that excitement, we're aiming to set a new record for season ticket sales at Ole Miss with over 1,250."
Fans can acquire single-game tickets at the Tad Smith Coliseum Ticket Office, or on game days at the Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field Ticket Office. Single-game tickets are $5.00, with tickets for high school students and younger at $2.00. However, the $2.00 tickets are only available on game days. The Ticket Office also announced that Ole Miss faculty will no longer be able to buy half-priced tickets on game days.

The Rebels are scheduled to have 34 home games in 2001, beginning Fri., Feb. 9 with the season-opener against Arkansas-Little Rock at 3:00 p.m. SEC schools scheduled to visit Oxford this season are Kentucky (March 9-11), Alabama (March 23-25), Georgia (March 30-April 1), Florida (April 20-22) and Mississippi State (May 11-13).
