Volleyball Continues Conference Road Trip

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss volleyball team continues its four-match conference road trip with LSU and Arkansas this weekend. The Lady Rebels will face LSU at 7 p.m. on Friday and then travel to Arkansas for a 1:30 p.m. match on Sunday.
The Lady Rebels enter the weekend with a 5-12 overall record, 1-6 in the SEC. They will be looking to snap a five-match conference losing streak beginning with LSU. Senior Jaime Burns leads Ole Miss with 220 kills for an average of 3.73 per game. Abby Hollander became the fourth Lady Rebel to reach 100 kills for the season with her seven kills in the Georgia match last Sunday.
LSU comes into the weekend with a 10-6 overall record, 5-2 in the SEC. They defeated Rice University 3-0 last Friday and then lost to No. 19 South Carolina 3-1 on Sunday. The Lady Tigers are led by junior outside hitter Jennifer Hampton, who has 170 kills for an average of 3.33 per game.
Arkansas enters this weekend's matches with a 10-6 overall record, 7-0 in the SEC. They upset South Carolina 3-1 last Friday, before losing 3-1 to Georgia Tech on Sunday. The Lady Razorbacks are led by senior outside hitter Eftila Tanellari, who has 189 kills for an average of 3.38 kills per game.
