Trying to extend the match to a game five, Ole Miss took a 14-10 advantage and then increased their lead to 24-16. Alabama used a 4-0 run to get within 24-20 forcing Ole Miss to call timeout. Following the timeout, the Lady Rebels won the next three points to go ahead 27-20.
