ARIZONA GAME TIME CHANGE: Ole Miss' Saturday game versus Arizona in Oxford has been changed from 1 p.m. to 11:30 a.m., due to the Ole Miss-Alabama men's basketball game scheduled for 3 p.m., at Tad Smith Coliseum.
FREE BASEBALL: Tonight is Faculty and Staff Night at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field. Ole Miss faculty and staff can attend tonight's game for free by showing their Ole Miss ID at the Swayze Field Ticket Office. In addition to tonight's game, Ole Miss faculty and staff will also have the opportunity to catch these two games for free: Fri., March 9 vs. Kentucky (6:30 p.m.) and Wed., Mar. 14 vs. Murray State (6:30 p.m.). Tickets for these games can be obtained at the Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field Ticket Office on the day of the game.

MAYOR'S TROPHY TICKETS: Tickets for the March 28 Mayor's Trophy game versus Mississippi State can be purchased by calling 1-601-981-1414 or sending a check to: OVERTIME SPORTS, 1200 LAKELAND DRIVE, JACKSON, MS 39216. Ticket prices are $10 for grandstand chairback and $6 for all other seats.
LAST TIME OUT: Louisiana Tech jumped out to a 5-0 lead and held on to defeat Ole Miss 7-4 Sunday and salvage the final game of the weekend's three-game series. Josh Christian led off the sixth with a home run to straight away center, and Lance Jones and Burney Hutchinson hit back-to-back homers to start the seventh and pull Ole Miss to within 5-4. The Bulldogs, though, would add two insurance runs in the bottom of the seventh to make it 7-4. Ole Miss out-hit Louisiana Tech 13-10, however, the Rebels stranded 13 runners on base, including 11 in the final six innings.
SCOUTING THE SKYHAWKS: UT-Martin enters tonight's game with an 0-5 record after being swept in a three-game series by Northern Illinois this past weekend in Martin. The Skyhawks are hitting .236 (38x161) as a team with 3 HRs and 15 RBI. Senior 1B Joe Ayers leads the regulars with a .357 (5x14) average with one HR and one RBI. UTM pitchers have a 5.03 ERA (39.0 IP, 28 ER) and opponents are hitting .333 against them with six HRs.
SERIES INFO: Tonight's game is the 11th all-time meeting between UT-Martin and Ole Miss dating back to 1992 ... The Rebels lead the series 9-1 ... The two teams split last year's two-game series, with the Skyhawks recording their first-ever win against Ole Miss, 8-5, on March 28 in Oxford. The Rebels later won the rematch, 14-5, on April 18 in Jackson, Tenn. ... All but one of the previous 10 games have been contested in Oxford, with last year's game in Jackson, Tenn., being the only one not played at Swayze Field ... The Rebels have outscored the Skyhawks 95-18 in the series.
OLE MISS VS. THE OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE: UT-Martin is third and final Ohio Valley Conference school Ole Miss is scheduled to play this season. The Rebels are 3-1 versus the OVC this season, winning 2-of-3 from SE Missouri State in Oxford, Feb. 17-18, and defeating Austin Peay 4-0 in a rain-shortened, seven-inning game last Wednesday in Oxford. The Rebels are 55-12 (.821 winning percentage) all-time versus teams from the Ohio Valley Conference. Ole Miss went 4-1 against the OVC last season, sweeping two games from SEMO, splitting two games with UT-Martin, and defeating Austin Peay once.
