OXFORD, Miss. - Tuesday's college baseball game between Mississippi Valley State and Ole Miss has been canceled due to rain. No make-up date has been announced.
The 19th-ranked Rebels will next travel to Memphis Wednesday evening for a 7 p.m., game with the University of Memphis at AutoZone Park, home of the Pacific Coast League's Memphis Redbirds.
Ole Miss will host Alabama this weekend in a three-game Southeastern Conference series beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m. Saturday's game is scheduled for 4 p.m., and Sunday's series-finale is set for 1 p.m. The Rebels and Crimson Tide are tied along with Mississippi State and LSU for first-place in the SEC Western Division with 4-2 conference marks.
