OFFENSIVE NOTES
* Tremaine Turner's 8-yard TD run on Ole Miss' opening possession was the first by an Ole Miss running back since Robert Williams' 2-yard TD run in the first quarter at Alabama on Oct. 19. It was also just the Rebels' second rushing TD since Williams' score. The other rushing TD came courtesy of a 1-yard QB sneak by QB Eli Manning in the fourth quarter against Arkansas.
* The Rebels' touchdown on their opening possession marked the first time this season that an opponent had scored on Georgia on its opening series.
* Turner finished the night with a career high 89 yards rushing on a career-high 19 carries. His previous was 57 yards rushing against Arkansas State on Oct. 12.
* Turner's 67 (51 rush, 16 rec.) all purpose yards in the first half bettered his previous career best of 57 set against Arkansas State on Oct. 12. He finished the night with 105 all-purpose yards.
* Turner's 89 yards rushing was the most by an Ole Miss rusher since Robert Williams ran for 107 yards against Memphis on Sept. 7.
* Turner's two rushing TDs marked his first career multi-TD game, and marked the first time Ole Miss had scored at least two rushing TDs in the same game since scoring four against Arkansas State.
* The 107 yards rushing by the Rebels tonight snapped a streak of three straight games in which they were held to under 100 yards rushing. The 107 yards was also just seven yards shy of Ole Miss' total of 114 in the past three games versus Alabama, Arkansas and Auburn.
* Turner's 19 rushing attempts tied the Ole Miss single-game high this season, set earlier by Vashon Pearson against Florida.
