OXFORD, Miss. - After a solid fall season that saw the Lady Rebels turn in four top-10 finishes, including two in the top five, Ole Miss returns to the links to open the spring season at the Tulane Greenwave Classic, February 10-11. The tournament is being played at English Turn, where the PGA Compaq will be played.

The Lady Rebels will be sending a solid squad into competition with two seniors in Kerrie Davis and Bernadette Luse, and three solid underclassmen in Sarah Kate Cousart, Laura Evans and Nikki Hadd.

"Despite the weather we've had a couple of good weeks of practice with some good rounds played despite the conditions," Bolger said. "We're going down with a lot of hard work and we're excited. I'm excited since it's my home school and the girls are excited because Kerrie is from New Orleans and some of the girls have played the course. It's a good course to start the spring off. It's a small field but a good field and we're looking forward to it."

The tournament is a 54-hole, three round tournament with the first two rounds played on Monday and the final round being held on Tuesday. The tournament is being played at the

Davis and Luse look to provide a stabilizing hand for the squad as it begins its drive for an NCAA Regional berth. The duo have played in the most rounds of any members of the team, with Luse recording two of the squad's best finishes in the fall, highlighted by a tie for seventh at the Beacon Woods Invitational.

The underclassmen have been providing quite a spark on the links, providing an enthusiastic energy for the game to compliment the steady hand of the seniors. Freshman Cousart and Evans combined for the twelfth best freshman class in the nation by on course production in the fall with four top-25 finishes between the two.

Hadd posted three of the team's best finishes in the fall, with a career-best third place finish coming at the Pat Bradley Championships to close out the first half of the year's competition. The sophomore recorded a 75-72-78-225 in the three day tournament as the squad took a fourth place finish overall.

Results will be posted daily at www.OleMissSports.com as soon as they are made available.
