Friday's Game With Texas-Arlington Postponed Due Rain

HOUSTON - Friday's scheduled college baseball game between No. 25 (Baseball America) Ole Miss (2-1) and Texas-Arlington (4-6) at Reckling Park on the campus of Rice University has been postponed due to heavy rains in the Houston-area.
The contest has been rescheduled for Saturday, however, the start time will not been known until later tonight. Second-ranked (Baseball America) Rice (5-1) is scheduled to play No. 23 (Baseball America) Stetson (3-3) tonight at 8 p.m., at Reckling Park.
If that game is played, the Rebels will play back-to-back games against UT-Arlington and Rice beginning at 10 a.m.
If the Rice-Stetson game is postponed, Friday's games will be played Saturday morning beginning with the Rebels and Mavericks at 9 a.m. Rice and Stetson will play 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Ole Miss/UT-Arlington game, and the Rebels and Owls will be third game of the afternoon.
Ole Miss is scheduled to conclude the tournament against Stetson, Sunday at noon.
