First Day Action At 2003 SEC Baseball Tournament Rained Out

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The first day of the 2003 Southeastern Conference was rained out Wednesday, and all games have been postponed until Thursday. Ole Miss and Mississippi State will play their first-round game at 5 p.m. CT tomorrow.

The winner of the Rebel-Bulldog tournament encounter will play at 8 p.m. CT Friday, while the loser will play at 1 p.m. CT.

Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast will televise the four tournament games Thursday. The Ole Miss-Mississippi State contest will be broadcast in the Oxford area by UMTV Channel 12. Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast will carry the first two games on Friday, and FOX SportsNet South will air the second two games.
