Ole Miss Cross Country Competes At UT-Martin Invitational

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Martin, Tenn., Saturday Oct. 9 to compete in the UT-Martin Invitational. The women's 5K race will begin at 9 a.m. with the men's 8K race beginning at 9:30 a.m.
The Lady Rebels will be led by sophomore Shannon Chandler who won the ASU Invitational two weeks ago. The Lady Rebels will welcome back senior Erin Jordan, who has been out due to injury. Junior Justin Jernigan, will pace the rebels with freshman Kyle Lewis and senior Caleb Hammons all battling to see who is number one on the men's side.
The Rebels will compete against host UT-Martin, Fisk Univ., Tennessee State, Freed-Hardeman, Bethel College, Union Univ., Tennessee Tech, Arkansas State, North Alabama, Austin-Peay and Lambuth Univ.
