Ole Miss Cross Country Opens Season at Arkansas State Invitational

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Jonesboro, Ark., Saturday Sept. 25 to kick off the season at the Arkansas State Invitational. The women's 5K race will begin at 10:15 a.m., with the men's 8K race following around 11:00 a.m.
Ole Miss men and women will be competing against host Arkansas State, Murray State, Tennessee-Martin, and University of Memphis at the Invitational.
"This meet should be great experience for us," said cross country coach Doug Blackwell. "It is our first meet of the season, so it will be exciting to see how our training has paid off."
