Game Notes

Ole Miss will be searching for their first Southeastern Conference road win when they travel to Florida on Sunday. Ole Miss head coach Carol Ross, who spent 12 seasons guiding the Gators, makes her first return to Gainesville as a visiting coach when the two teams tip-off at 3 p.m. in the O'Connell Center.

The Lady Rebels are 12-5, 2-2 under the direction of Ross. She earned SEC Co-Coach of the Year honors in 2004 after guiding Ole Miss back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in eight seasons.

Ole Miss is fresh off its first win over a ranked team in nearly year as sophomore Armintie Price's 18 points five rebounds, five assists and four steals led the Lady Rebels to a 66-60 victory of #15/17 Vanderbilt on Thursday.

Florida enters Sunday's contest with a 12-5 overall mark, including a 3-1 record in SEC play. UF's lone conference loss came at the hands of #2/2 LSU and all five are their losses are to teams currently ranked in the Top 25.

The Gators are led by junior Bernice Mosby's 14.0 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. Senior guard Tamia Williams adds 12.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. Senior Tishona Gregory leads Florida with 3.1 assists per game, and junior Sarah Lowe grabs 1.9 steals a game.

Florida head coach Carolyn Peck is 40-35 in her third season in Gainesville. Peck's overall coaching record is 97-46 in her fifth year in the business.
