Rebel Golf Announces The Signing Of Troy Sidabras

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss men's golf Head Coach Ernest Ross announced the signing of Troy Sidabras on Thursday. Sidabras, who attends Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy in Indiatlantic, Fla., signed a national letter of intent to join the Ole Miss men's golf program beginning in the 2006-07 academic year.
"Troy is a great player and we are very excited to have him coming to Ole Miss," said Ross. "He will be an impact player for us. He has excellent swing fundamentals and is a very solid ball-striker. I think the most impressive thing about Troy is his desire to be the best. He is really motivated to be one of the best golfers in America."
Sidabras is ranked No. 33 in the latest American Junior Golf Association/ GolfWeek ranking in the 2006 class. He has two top 6 finishes in AJGA tournaments, and recently finished fourth in the GolfWeek Top 100 tournament in North Carolina. He attended the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Bradenton, FL for one semester before transferring to Holy Trinity.
