Rebel Golfers In Seventh After Round Two In Tuscaloosa

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Ole Miss men's golf team fell from fifth to seventh place after shooting a 311 on Saturday, the second day of the Conrad Rehling Alabama Invitational at the Ol' Colony Golf Club. The Rebels' team score stands at 619.
Last year's team champion and host school Alabama took over the lead on Saturday with a second-round 286 to give them a two-day total of 590, ten strokes in front of second-place Michigan State.
Senior Jordan Dempsey (75-76--151) remains the Rebels' low scorer and is currently in 18th place, while sophomore Brice Bailey is just one stroke behind Dempsey after firing back-to-back rounds of 76 (152). Bailey is tied for 19th.
Other Ole Miss scores from round two included a 75 by sophomore Kyle Ellis (155), an 84 by senior Lucas Boyd (162) and an 86 by sophomore Callum Macaulay (165).
The final round of the 12-team, three-day invitational will wrap up Sunday afternoon.
