Carmia Carroll Takes Fifth At Pan Am Junior Championships

WINDSOR, Canada - Ole Miss rising sophomore Carmia Carroll turned in an outstanding performance at the 2005 Pan American Junior Championships by picking up a fifth place finish in the high jump. Carroll cleared 5-9.25 to tie a personal best mark and pick up the fifth-place finish.
"Carmia had a great competition," said Ole Miss head coach Joe Walker. "She was so close to placing second. She really had a great year and we are looking forward to her competing for Ole Miss in the years to come."
Carroll also cleared 5-9.25 at the 2005 NCAA Mideast Regional Championships. She was the lone Rebel competing for the United States at the Pan Am Junior Championships.
