Box Score

LAFAYETTE, La. - In Ole Miss' final game of the Louisiana Classics, the Rebels fell 6-0 to the No. 18 Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns on Sunday at the Ragin' Cajuns Softball Park.

For the second time in the tournament, junior Mary Jane Callahan pitched a strong game against the Ragin' Cajuns, this time allowing four earned runs and striking out seven batters in her seven-inning, complete-game outing.

She was again out-dueled by Krystal Lewallen, who gave up four hits in the complete-game shutout.

Ole Miss (2-3) was plagued all day on Sunday by fielding miscues, adding five errors in the late game to their seven in the morning contest versus Memphis.

Louisiana-Lafayette (4-0) got four runs in the top of the third inning, including a three-run home run by Lacey Bertucci. The Ragin' Cajuns added two more runs in the sixth and seventh inning for the 6-0 final score.

Callahan, freshman Michelle May, freshman Lisa Conchos and junior Brittany Warner collected Ole Miss' four hits. Conchos finished the tournament with seven hits in her first 14 collegiate at-bats.

The Rebels will travel to Florida Atlantic University for the FAU Dunkin' Donuts Classic next weekend.
