SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Ole Miss sophomore Kenyata Coleman broke her own school record in the 400-meters at the Alex Wilson Invitational, hosted by the University of Norte Dame. Coleman's time of 53.41 bested her previous mark of 53.87 set earlier this season.
"Kenyata has worked very hard for this honor," said Ole Miss head coach Joe Walker. "I am very proud of her."
Coleman had earned a NCAA provisional mark with her time earlier this season.
Jacob Farmer turned in a time of 21.60 in the men's 200-meters.
"We have to wait and see how the NCAA seeds come out on Monday," said Walker.
The NCAA Indoor Championships begin on March 10 in Fayetteville, Ark.
