Stacy McCommon Named To SEC Softball Good Works Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Ole Miss senior Stacy McCommon has been named as the 2006 Ole Miss representative on the Southeastern Conference Softball Good Works Team, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

The Rebel team captain has served the Oxford community in a variety of ways. She has participated in "Reading with the Rebels," the Big Sister Program, Pass the Bucket and Oxford Food Pantry Canned Food Drive. She also helped with the AKA Charity Basketball Tournament and Ole Miss Choices, as well as National Student-Athlete Day with Oxford Elementary.

The Amory, Miss., native has been named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll and has been a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
