OXFORD, Miss. The Ole Miss Rebel football held a walk-through on Friday afternoon inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in preparation for Saturday’s scrimmage.

Ole Miss head coach Ed Orgeron was pleased with Friday’s walk-thru and is ready for Saturday’s scrimmage.

“We are going to go have a mock game tomorrow,” said Orgeron. “The first-team will go against the service team and we will simulate a game and go over game situations.”

Oregon said the Rebels have not received word on the eligibility of defensive line recruit Jerrell Powe.

The Rebels open the 2006 campaign September 3 at home against Memphis. The ESPN Sunday contest is set for 3:30 p.m. CT.
