Lady Rebels Earning Votes In First Coaches Poll
10/31/2007 | Women's Basketball
The Lady Rebels join six other schools in the SEC that are either ranked in the top-25 or are also receiving votes. Defending NCAA champion
In addition to the six teams inside the conference Ole Miss will face this season, the Lady Rebels will also take on five other teams that find themselves either ranked or receiving votes. Ole Miss is slated to play against 16th-ranked
The Lady Rebels return two starters, senior Danetra Forrest and sophomore Alliesha Easley, and nine other letterwinners from last season’s club that posted a 24-11 record and reached the NCAA Elite Eight for the fifth time in school history.
The first chance to see Ole Miss in action will be Sunday evening at 6 p.m. when the Lady Rebels host DT-3 in an exhibition game from Tad Smith Coliseum.
