Five Ole Miss Athletes Qualify For NCAA Track Championships

Coleman, a three-time NCAA Championships participant, qualified in the 400 meters with a season best time of 53.42. Her time is the 13th fastest in the nation this season. The prelims of the 400 meters will take place on Friday at 5:40 p.m. and the finals will be ran on Saturday at 6:55 p.m.
Farmer qualified in the 200 meters with a time of 21.02, which ranks him 13th in the nation. Farmer, however, will be unable to compete in the meet due to injury. Lockhart qualified in the 400 meters with a best time of 46.46, the 13th fastest time in the nation this season. The prelims of the 400 meters will take place on Friday at 5:50 p.m. and the finals will be ran on Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
Reese, the reigning SEC Indoor long jump champions, qualified in the long jump with a mark of 21-09.50. Her mark is the best in the NCAA this season, the best mark in the
Yarbrough qualified in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.67. His time is the fastest in the nation this season. Yarbrough earned All-America honors last year in the 110-meter hurdles. The prelims of the 60-meter hurdles will start on Friday at 5:20 p.m. The finals will be ran at 8:20 p.m.
The five athletes is a record for the most individual events athletes in Ole Miss history. The Rebels had seven athletes qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships as part of a relay team.
