Former Ole Miss golfer Callum Macaulay said at the beginning of his senior season he wanted to lead the Rebels back to the postseason before his career ended. He accomplished that, helping the team advance to the 2007 NCAA East Regional.
Since leaving Ole Miss, Macaulay has been busy working on another goal, making the European Walker Cup Team.

Macaulay shot 66-67--133 to finish third in stroke play qualifying to grab one of the 64 spots in match play. In his first match, he defeated Sam Stuart of St. Annes on the 19th hole. In the second round, he won 4 & 3 against Rhys Enoch of

The first stage of the championship involved 288 players each of whom played two rounds of 18 holes, one to be played on each of the two courses. The 64 lowest scores over the 36 holes and ties for 64th place advanced to match play which began Wednesday. Each match consists of one round of 18 holes except the final which will feature 36 holes.
Macaulay helped lead the Rebels to the NCAA East Regional this past season and their best finish in the SEC Championships (4th) in 19 years, while becoming the 16th All-SEC player in Ole Miss men’s golf history.
“It’s unbelievable how much improvement Callum made from his first year at Ole Miss until now,” Rebel head coach Ernest Ross said. “He loves the game of golf, and he loves to compete. His goal is to represent
