BASEBALL RENOVATION
The article included in this issue of Vaught's View pretty much tells you where we are at the present time. A board meeting took place on Friday, June 29th and discussion on the personal seat license (PSL) language and the finance package. For the PSL, there are a few hoops that we will need to jump through concerning the IHL and our affiliation agreement with the University. We are determined to get this accomplished and will keep you updated with our progress by email.
BASKETBALL PRACTICE FACILITY
As some of you are already aware, Ole Miss Athletics is currently in a quiet phase with its fundraising efforts for a new Basketball Practice Facility. The project is projected to costs between $10-$12 million, of which $4 million in pledges and cash have been committed. Our goal is to have secured $6 million before we go public. We will have printed material that will go out to all Ole Miss Alumni and Friends. Printed material will be mailed to all Ole Miss Alumni and friends and we will continue to make one on one calls. The last phase of this project will be to utilize the Ole Miss Phone Bank and make calls to anyone who has not responded. Most of you are aware that this must be a cash facility as there will not be any revenue generated. We have a great coach and we must keep up with his program's needs.
TENNIS FACILITY RENOVATIONS
Our tennis facility will be undergoing a renovation soon. The cost will be approximately 2 million of which we currently have 1.1 million. We hope to finish this campaign by September. The majority of those targeted for this campaign have tennis backgrounds. We will continue to work our group and should have plans for the public soon.
We value your dedication to Ole Miss Athletics and as always, let us know how we can help you.
