CHICAGO  Former Ole Miss All-American Armintie Price is having a standout rookie campaign with the WNBA’s Chicago Sky as evidenced by her ranking as the league's top rookie in a recent listing by WNBA.com.

Price, one of only two players in NCAA history to record over 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 400 assists and 400 steals in a career, currently tops all rookies in minutes played (703), rebounds (172) and steals (31) and is tied for first in double-doubles (1). She also ranks second among rookies in assists (83) and fourth in scoring (8.4 ppg).

Among all WNBA players, Price ranks second in offensive boards (70) and sixth in total rebounds (172). Her 8.4 points per game average for the Sky is 31st in the league, and she posted a career high of 17 points and 13 boards against Seattle on June 12.

Price, who was the third pick in this year's draft, has helped lead the Sky to a 12-14 overall record, a marked improvement over last season’s 5-29 record. The Sky currently sits in fourth place in the WNBA’s Eastern Conference and occupies the final playoff spot.
