Men's Golf Shoots Even Par At Bank Of Tennessee

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. The Ole Miss men's golf team fired an even par 288 in the second round of the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at The Ridges Saturday, and moved up to fourth heading into Sunday's final round. The Rebels are just four back of the leader, Wake Forest, who shot a 285 in the second round for a total of 576.
East Tennessee State and Coastal Carolina are tied for second at 578, while North Carolina State rounds out the top five at 585.
Rebel freshman Sean Dale is tied for sixth after carding a 1-under 71 Saturday to go with Friday's even par 72. He is just three back of the leader, N.C. State's Darren Blair.
Sophomore Jonathan Randolph also fired a 71 and is tied for eighth at 144. After opening with a 71, senior Stefan Strandlund finished with a 75 and at 146, stands tied for 18th. Freshman Joe David rebounded from a first-round 76 to post 71, which included an eagle on the par-5 517-yard 14th.
Ole Miss will seek to catch the leaders as they tee off the final round Sunday beginning at 8:20 a.m. CT.
