Ole Miss Club Meetings Kick Off This Week

OXFORD, Miss. With the conclusion of spring football drills comes the start of club meetings, as Ole Miss fans across the nation gather in groups and meet some of the key figures in Rebel sports.

 

The Rebel Club of Memphis kicked off the festivities with their golf tournament and meeting Monday, and others are being held this week in Boston, Hattiesburg and Waynesboro, and next week in Birmingham, Atlanta and Pascagoula.

 

The Boston Rebel Club will hold its Ole Miss Happy Hour Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Charley's Eating and Drinking Saloon at 284 Newbury Street. Contact Raney-Mills Turner at missraneymills@gmail.com or (662) 816-5465 for more information.

 

On Wednesday, the Pine Belt Ole Miss Club will welcome Ole Miss defensive coordinator Tyrone Nix to its meeting at the Oak Grove High School Library in Hattiesburg. The event begins at 5 p.m. and is free to the public. Please RSVP to Charlotte Jackson at (601) 296-1780.

 

Ole Miss head football coach Houston Nutt will be speaking to the Wayne County Rebel Club Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Waynesboro City Auditorium.
