Dori Carter Moves Up At NCAA East Regional

ATHENS, Ga. Ole Miss junior Dori Carter moved up several spots in the standings at the NCAA East Regional Friday, despite conditions being more difficult at the University of Georgia Golf Course.

 

On a day when the wind kicked up and the greens were a little harder and drier, Carter shot a 75 to go with her first-round 77 in Thursday’s first round.  She jumped up from a tie for 52 to a tie for 33. 

 

Carter will tee off the final round at 7:00 a.m. CT trying to advance to the NCAA Finals in Albuquerque, N.M.  The top eight teams in the field and the top three individual finishers who are not members of those teams will advance to the NCAA Championships.
