UMAA Foundation members,
On Monday, June 30, the UMAA Foundation will begin allocating season football tickets. The countdown to kickoff is just over two months away and we need the stadium packed for Houston Nutt during his inaugural season as the head football coach of the Rebels. If you are interested in upgrading your UMAA Foundation membership, it is extremely important that you do so before the allocation process begins. Promotion for Brick Campaign has bricks selling for ONLY $50!
Beginning on June 30, the UMAA Foundation will offer a two-week promotion that provides fans the opportunity to purchase a brick for the All-American Plaza for ONLY $50! This sale will last through Friday, July 11. A new brick order will then be placed to have all bricks laid prior to the home opener against Memphis on August 30. Please call in your order or mail the attached form to: UMAA Foundation, P.O. Box 355, University, MS 38677.
Meet the Rebels
Mark your calendar for August 16 as that is the date to "Meet the Rebels!" More details will be announced as this date approaches.
Oxford-University Stadium Expansion
If you have been to campus recently, you may have noticed some major construction going on at Oxford-University Stadium. Next February, your Ole Miss Rebels Baseball team will play in the premier college baseball facility in all of America. Capacity (not including outfield terrace) will increase from 3,000 to more than 6,000 actual seats and provide more fans the opportunity to watch the Rebels. There are still club level seats and outfield box seats remaining. Basketball Practice Facility
Last week, the UMAA Foundation announced that Yates Construction was awarded the contract to build the new basketball practice facility. Yates Construction submitted the lowest bid of $10,644,000 for the 51,000 square-foot project that is vital for the continued success of the Ole Miss Men's and Women's programs. We are currently at $6.6 million for funding this project and if you have not contributed to the campaign, your support would be greatly appreciated.
